The Mikroturn® vertical machines are the leading solution on high precision hard turning for achieving (sub) micron accuracies.
These vertical machines are designed for most demanding precision requirements for workpieces up to ø 1.500 mm. Two models are also available in a 4-axis configuration. Thanks to this configuration, the machines are able to process an inner and outer diameter at the same time resulting in even lower cycle times.
All machines are equipped with a rigid natural granite machine base and a wear-free hydrostatic bearing system for the guideways and the main spindle or rotary table.

Advantages
- The rigid natural granite portal and serves as a reference plane for the main spindle or rotary table and guideways. Because of its properties, natural granite provides a high thermal and dynamic stability.
- Hydrostatic, wear-free technology for the main spindle or rotary table and guideways: enhanced vibration damping, absence of wear, greater precision and thermal stability.
- The guideways are driven by ball screws and have a sealed type, direct linear measuring system.
- Models available in a 4-axis configuration allowing simultaneous ID and OD machining for a reduction in cycle time up to 40%.
- It can be automated by means of DANOBAT designed loading systems, such as robotized systems.
